Craft Story: Pāli Haze collection interprets the beauty of imperfection through the ancient textile craft of Ikat.
Ikat is many thousands of years old, is practiced across various parts of the world and each part has given this traditional craft its own unique style. We’ve explored Warp Ikat and Double Ikat style of Pochampally, Telangana, India in this collection. It involves the threads being tied to create the required design, then dyed in beautiful, earthy colours, then carefully aligning thread by thread to form the pattern, and finally weaving them by hands. These handwoven pieces are a simple reminder of the wonder that our hands can create.
Due to the handcrafting process, each Pāli product comes with tiny variations in colour, weave or design. Embrace clothes as different as each of us.
